Purpose of This Article, Definitions
The purpose of this article is to set terms and conditions for any transactions between the buyer (referred to as "you") and the seller Stynger Skies / Dead Dragon Fursuits (referred to as "me" or "I"). Transactions will be referred to as "orders" when referring to the sale of pre-made items, as "commissions" when referring to the sale of customized items, and as "purchases" when a statement applies to both orders and commissions.
Agreement Notice
Before completeing a purchace, you will be asked for express consent to confirm that you have read and understand the terms and conditions written below, and that you agree to them.
Privacy Policy
I do not collect any data from you when you use this website. I do, however, collect information when starting an order. All information I collect from you is kept private unless requested by law enforcement or other situations required by law. This information may include but is not limited to: age, home address, phone number, photos, and full name.
1 - Age
I do not accept purchases from minors, meaning anyone under the age of 18. If someone under the age of 18 wishes to purchase from me, they must instead have a parent or legal guardian make the purchase.
2 - Payment
I accept payments through Square, money orders, cashier's checks, and physical debit or credit cards. I may choose to accept cash at my discretion.
Before I accept any payments from you, I will require you to show an official photo ID. A driver's license, learner's permit, or passport would work, as long as it shows your age / birth date, address, and name.
I do accept semi-flexible payment plans based on your needs, however I will not start work on a commission or ship your order until the final payment has been made. All payment plans require a non-refundable* down-payment of 25% of the total purchase price. Larger down-payments may be made, but the non-refundable* portion of the payment is still 25% of the total purchase price.
Partial payments for a payment plan may have a payment deadline set weekly, every two weeks (bi-weekly), every three weeks (tri-weekly), monthly, or every two months (bi-monthly). The partial payment amount and final deadline are negotiable, and will be discussed and agreed upon during the purchase process. Missed payments are discussed in section 3 - Missed Payments.
If you decide to pay for the full cost of your purchase at once, then the non-refundable* down-payment is 20%.
*Non-refundable is subject to two exceptions: 1. The down-payment is refundable on orders; 2. If I cancel your purchase at my own discretion without your request, then you will receive a 100% refund of everything you paid. I reserve the right to cancel your order for any reason.
3 - Missed payments
Missing a payment deadline will result in an additional late fee if the delinquent ammount is not paid by the following payment deadline. I will send you reminders about approaching payment deadlines. The size of the late fee depends on the payment schedule, and are as follows: $5 USD for weekly payment plans, $7 USD for bi-weekly payment plans, $9 USD for tri-weekly plans, $11 USD for monthly payment plans, and $20 USD for bi-monthly plans . Late fees are due at the final deadline.
If at the final deadline you have not paid off your invoice and any late fees, your payment plan deadline will be extended by at least six weeks, and an additional late fee equal to 5% of the purchase's total cost before fees will be added on. If you miss this extended final payment, you will be issued a refund of what you paid, minus an amount up to but not exceeding the sum total of all late fees, and the down-payment when the down-payment is non-refundable. For this reason, if you believe you can not pay off your payment plan on time, I recommend you ask for a refund as soon as possible.
4 - Refunds
If you request a refund for a commission before materials have been ordered, you will receive a full refund, minus the down-payment and any late fees. If you request a refund after materials have been ordered but before progress has started, you will receive an amount of money back equal to the total price you paid, minus the total cost of all materials ordered for your commission, the down-payment, and any late fees. I will send images of the material receipts as proof of cost.
If progress has already been started on your commission and you request a refund, the refund amount will depend on how much progress I have made. The refund will be proportionate to the progress I have made, minus the down-payment, total material costs, and any late fees. The commission will be finished and altered so it no longer represents your character, and will then be either sold on my shop or used for other purposes.
Unless it is for a reason covered under warranty (see section 7), no refunds will be given after your commission has been completed, and I do not allow refunds on orders after your item has been shipped and has been marked as "Out For Delivery" on the shipping courier's website. If you request a refund on an order before that point, you will receive a full refund minus any late fees, if applicable.
5 - Deadlines
While I do not adhere to deadlines, I try to keep my turnaround time short and never accept new orders until my current batch of orders is nearing completion. However, it may take longer than that based on your place in the queue, the complexity of other commissions in the queue, the complexity of your commission, the ammount of time I have for work, and any external factors. I will give non-binding rough estimates during the commission process.
6 - Shipping
Your legal name and valid phone number are required for shipping, and your signature will be required upon delivery. If you are unable to sign for a package, I can instead have it be held at your local post office, Fedex location, or UPS location, where you can pick it up at a more convenient time. To pick up your package, you must bring a government-issued photo ID that matches your name on the package.
Shipping inside the contiguous United States of America is included in the purchase price if you choose the shipping method I recommend to you during the purchase process, or if the cost of the shipping method you choose is no more than 15% more expensive than the cost of the shipping method I recommend. Shipping cost differences larger than 15% will need to be paid by you. Large commissions, such as digitigrade fursuits or fursuits with multiple electronics, may ship in multiple packages. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or other off-shore US territories may incur additional charges.
In some cases, I may be able to personally deliver your purchase. The cost for personal deliveries will be $0.25 USD per projected mile traveled, plus the projected cost of fuel that I will use on the trip. Deliveries must be during daylight hours and must be in well-populated areas, and deliveries that require me to drive multiple days will add an additional $150 USD for each day beyond the first. You will receive credit toward personal delivery equal to the quoted USD cost to ship your purchase by USPS Priority Mail®. Any cost on top of this credit must be paid by you before I leave to deliver your package.
International shipping will incur additional charges on top of the commission price. Always check with a local customs office before receiving an international package to ensure it can cross customs. You will be responsible for paying any customs or other transfer fees. Also, keep in mind that packages tend to get held up in customs, so please be patient while waiting on your package.
7 - Warranty
If you receive an item from me in damaged condition, or it becomes damaged due to inadequate construction or material defects, contact me immediately so we can work out repairs and / or a partial refund. This warranty is valid for sixty days after the item is delivered. Any alteration made by someone other than myself voids the warranty. Standard wear and tear are not covered under warranty. Abuse of the item and maintenance negligence are not covered under warranty.
8 - Allergies
I operate from a home with cats. While I do keep my workplace clean and free of animals, and vacuum products before boxing them up, I can’t guarantee anything will be 100% allergen-free. If you are allergic to cats or you live with someone allergic to cats, and still choose to purchase from me, I am not liable for any injuries or illness caused due to allergic reactions.
9 - Quotes
Pricing quotes are valid for ninety days as long as no changes were made to the character’s design or commission info during that time. Making changes to a character’s design voids your quote.
To get a quote, you must submit a clear character reference sheet that shows the character from the front, rear, and at least one side. Reference sheets must be flat color - reference sheets with shading will not be accepted. Asymmetrical characters must show the character from both sides. I allow some flexibility in reference sheet requirements for artistic liberty commissions.
While quotes are always open, I open only for a limited amount of commissions each cycle. A quote does not guarantee a commission slot.
10 - Commission Changes
Any changes made to the character's design or commission details during the commission process will lengthen the time it takes to complete your commission, and will also incur additional fees for differences in complexity and any work that needs to be undone. Changes complicate the commission process, so I ask that you do not change your character’s design or other commission details during the commission process. However, I will still impliment changes if they are desired.
Design changes do not include any errors made on my part. If I miss a fur marking, leave out a feature, or there is some other error with your commission caused by me, there is no added cost to fixing that error.

Privacy Policy
All information I collect from you is kept private unless requested by law enforcement. This information may include but is not limited to: age, home address, phone number, photos, and full name.
1 - Age
I do not take commissions or orders from minors, meaning anyone under the age of 18. If you are a minor and wish to commission me, then I must work through a parent or legal guardian.
Before I accept any payments from you, I will require you to show an official photo ID. A driver's license, learner's permit, or passport would work, as long as it shows your age / birth date, address, and name.
2 - Payment
I accept payments through Square, money orders, cashier's checks, and physical debit or credit cards. I do not accept payments with virtual debit or credit cards. I do not and will never accept crypto currency as a payment option.
I do accept semi-flexible payment plans based on your needs, however I will not start work on a commission or ship your item until the final payment has been made. All payment plans require a non-refundable* down-payment of at least 25%. Missed payments are discussed in section 3.
If you decide to pay for the full cost of your commission or item at once, then the non-refundable* portion of your payment is 20%.
*Non-refundable is subject to two exceptions: 1. The down-payment is refundable on non-commissioned items; 2. If I cancel your order at my own discretion without your request, then you will receive a 100% refund of everything you paid. I reserve the right to cancel your order for any reason.
3 - Missed payments
Missing a payment will result in an additional late fee. The size of the late fee depends on the payment schedule, and are as follows: $10 for weekly payment plans, $20 for bi-weekly payment plans, and $40 for monthly payment plans. If by the final deadline you have not paid off your invoice and any late fees, your payment plan deadline will be extended by six weeks, and an additional late fee equal to 5% of the commission's total cost will be added on. If you miss this extended final payment, you will be issued a refund of what you paid, minus an amount up to but not exceeding the sum total of all late fees and the down-payment. For this reason, if you believe you can not pay off your payment plan on time, I recommend you ask for a refund as soon as possible.
4 - Refunds

I will send images of the material receipts as proof of cost.
If progress has already been started on your commission and you need a refund, the refund amount will depend on how much progress I have made. The refund will be proportionate to the progress I have made, minus the down-payment, material costs, and any late fees. The commission will be finished and altered so it no longer represents your character, and will then be sold on my shop.
Unless it is for a reason covered under warranty (see section 7), no refunds will be given after your commission has been completed, and I do not allow refunds on pre-made fursuits or other non-customized items after a shipping label has been created. If you request a refund on a pre-made or non-customized item before that point, you will receive a full refund minus any late fees, if applicable.
5 - Deadlines
While I do not adhere to deadlines, I try to keep my turnaround time under six months. However, it may take longer than that based on your place in the queue, the complexity of other commissions in the queue, the complexity of your commission, and the ammount of time I have for work. I will give non-binding rough estimates during the commission process.
6 - Shipping
A name and valid phone number are required for shipping, and a signature will be required upon delivery. If you are unable to sign for a package, I can instead have it be held at your local post office, Fedex warehouse, or UPS warehouse, where you can pick it up at a more convenient time. To pick up your package, make sure to bring a government-issued photo ID that matches the recipient's name on the package.
Shipping inside the contiguous United States of America is included in the commission price. Unless otherwise requested by the customer, I will ship through FedEx Ground or USPS. Large commissions, such as digitigrade fursuits or fursuits with multiple electronics, may ship in multiple packages, or with the stuffing removed and vacuum-packed. Choosing a different shipping method may result in additional fees. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or other off-shore US territories may incur additional charges.
International shipping will incur additional charges on top of the commission price, and will most commonly ship through FedEx unless otherwise requested by the customer.
Abuse and other unusual use cases are not covered under warranty.
8 - Allergies
I operate from a home with cats. Order from me at your own risk if you are allergic to cats. While I do keep my workplace clean and free of animals, and vacuum products before boxing them up, I can’t guarantee anything will be 100% allergen-free.
9 - Quotes and Orders
Pricing quotes are valid for ninety days as long as no changes were made to the character’s design or commission info during that time. Making changes to a character’s design voids the quote. Failing to show markings or anything else that would affect commission cost also voids the pricing quote.
To get a quote, you must submit a clear character reference sheet that shows the character from the front, rear, and at least one side. Asymmetrical characters must show the character from both sides. I will deny or delay a quote or commission if an inadequate reference is given. I allow some flexibility in reference sheet requirements for artistic liberty commissions.
While quotes are always open, I open only for a limited amount of commissions each cycle. A quote does not guarantee a commission slot.
10 - Design Changes
Any design changes made to the character during the commission process may cause the price and completion time to change, and complicates the commission process. For these reasons, I ask that you do not change your character’s design during the commission process, but I will still work with you if changes are desired.
11 - Fit and Duct Tape Dummies
As every human body is unique and your item(s) will be created remotely, I can’t guarantee a perfect fit for parts such as the head, hand paws, and foot paws, even with measurements. To give maximum accuracy for body suits, a duct tape dummy (DTD) of the customer's body is required for many commissions. I do allow measurements instead of a DTD in certain situations - contact me for more info.
